Before entering the field of nutrition, I pursued a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Warwick, followed by a Masters in Finance from Imperial College, UK. My career path shifted significantly when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age, which subsequently led to my development of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). These health challenges deepened my longstanding passion for healthy living and eating.

Motivated by the desire to aid my mother, my children, and myself, I made a career change. This decision prompted me to study Naturopathy and Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, where I now reside and practice. My personal journey of healing and successful management of my IBS aligned my personal and professional paths, inspiring me to establish “HealwithNutrition” (www.healwithnutrition.co.uk).

At HealwithNutrition, my mission is to impart knowledge to those seeking healthier lifestyles and wellness. As a passionate nutritional therapist, I don’t view my career merely as a profession, but as a calling—a journey driven by a profound desire to empower others through the transformative power of food and lifestyle choices.

Central to my practice is the belief that food is medicine. I advocate for a balanced approach that blends scientific research with traditional wisdom, promoting whole, nutrient-dense foods and mindful eating practices.

I am passionate about connecting nutrition science with everyday life, helping people find vitality, resilience, and overall well-being. By nourishing our bodies thoughtfully and respectfully, we unlock into our amazing potential for healing and thriving.

I was born and raised in Limassol, in a family where cooking was a daily ritual! Breakfast before school, snack for break, lunch at grandma’s and dinner at home. All prepared at home with love! Our weekends were a culinary feast, featuring our favorite dishes! Flavors and aromas that will forever be engraved in my memory.

It was only natural for me to choose cooking as a profession. At the age of 15, I went to the 3rd Technical School in Limassol, specializing in Culinary Arts, followed by two years at the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus, where I further improved my skills. Since then, I have worked in several restaurants and hotels.

In 2016 my family and I opened the Fitness & Salad Bar by FWB, in Limassol, specializing in fresh and healthy casual food options. The restaurant continues to thrive, with my father as the chef-patron.

As of 2021, I live and work in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as a chef. In September 2023, I gave birth to a baby boy, Sophocles.

My professional journey has taught me that a chef must possess the culture of quality, selecting the best seasonal products to create delicious dishes for the customers.

Beyond my work, cooking is a part of my daily routine and I consider it to be my way of saying to my family “I care for you”. My meals are based on a weekly schedule, ensuring there is variety and nutritional balance. I choose to make meals that are easy and quick yet nutritious and comforting.
